Job Description - Grade Specific
AI Model Development & Optimization- Train and fine-tune machine learning models using LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation) and other parameter-efficient fine-tuning techniques.
- Design, develop, train, and evaluate multimodal AI models from the ground up.
- Apply reinforcement learning (RL) techniques to improve model performance and optimize outcomes.
- Develop solutions for audio and speech machine learning tasks, including:
- Speaker diarization
- Speaker identification
- Speech-related AI applications
- Optimize model inference pipelines using techniques such as:
- TensorRT
- Quantization
- Pruning
AI Operations & Production Systems- Deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain distributed AI systems in cloud environments.
- Monitor production models and ensure operational reliability by:
- Detecting and addressing data drift
- Managing model degradation
- Resolving system failures
- Gather, clean, curate, and maintain high-quality datasets for model training and evaluation.
- Work within gated Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows, ensuring appropriate:
- Unit testing
- Component testing
- Integration testing
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on resolving complex and critical engineering challenges.
- Apply advanced knowledge of AI engineering theories, practices, and system design principles.
- Lead initiatives that influence strategic business objectives and future product development.
- Establish best practices, standards, and architectural guidelines across AI engineering teams.
- Mentor and support other AI engineers in their professional and technical growth.
Strategic Planning & Collaboration- Partner with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to design and optimize business workflows.
- Contribute to the development of organizational objectives and technical strategies.
- Evaluate complex business and technical challenges where solutions require consideration of both tangible and intangible factors.
- Leverage knowledge of media management strategies and content distribution workflows to enhance platform capabilities.
Required Qualification
- Extensive experience and deep understanding of digital and broadcast production operations and workflows.
- 5+ years of experience with AWS Cloud Services.
- 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Proven experience creating architecture documentation using the C4 Model and other traditional design artifacts.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Demonstrated ability to define technical direction and deliver large-scale, strategic initiatives.
Desired Qualification
- 7+ years of programming experience in one or more of the following languages:
- Python
- Java
- Golang
- JavaScript
- Experience with broadcast production systems or video content management platforms.
- Familiarity with modern web technologies, including:
- React
- Angular
- JavaScript
- HTML
- CSS
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including:
- Bachelor's degree in:
- Computer Science (CS)
- Electrical Engineering (EE)
- Or equivalent professional experience.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $73,150 to $174,000

The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
