Position location: Austin, TXRole Responsibilities Senior Software Engineer (front end focused) will design, develop, and deliver high-quality applications using Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. You will collaborate closely with product, architecture, and backend engineers to build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. Experience in the fintech industry is highly desirable.
- Develop high-quality, responsive web applications using Angular
- Build scalable and resilient backend services with Java and Spring Boot
- Design and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and UX teams to deliver end-to-end features
- Ensure code quality through test driven development (TDD), code reviews, and best engineering practices
- Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural decisions
Role Requirements - 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Strong frontend skills with Angular (TypeScript/JavaScript)
- Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and REST/microservices
- Solid experience with AWS (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and modern DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving and system design skills
Preferred Skills- Fintech experience (payments, risk, compliance, banking, etc.)
- Knowledge of security, authentication, and regulatory considerations
- UI/UX awareness and ability to work with design systems
- AWS Developer or Solutions Architect certification.
