Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/ Analyst join a team providing Aviation Mission Planning and Airspace Control / Management Systems support for Mission Command Aviation Programs (MCAP). This position supports the Mission Planning portfolio by assisting with system engineering, software enhancements, and program requirements in a dynamic, collaborative, and mentoring environment on Redstone Arsenal. As a Senior Software Engineer/ Analyst your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: • Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices. • Prepare work statements, including Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Technical Directives or Task Descriptions (TD). • Create specifications and enhancements for software products. • Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). • Develop, write, and staff briefings to diverse groups. • Apply complex problem-solving skills to support mission requirements. Required Qualifications: • U.S. Citizenship • Master's degree in a related field with 10+ years of relevant system or software engineering/analysis experience. • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 8+ years of relevant system or software engineering/analysis experience. • Active Secret Security Clearance • Experience working in an Acquisition Product Office. • Excellent communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Exposure to Agile Software Processes. • Exposure to the Software Acquisition Pathway or other Adaptive Acquisition Frameworks. • Strong Risk Management skills. • Exposure to aviation mission planning or tactical airspace control or management. • Exposure to Army Design Methodology and Military Decision Making Process.
