About the Role:AG Mednet's platform, Judi, is an Angular application, Java back-end, PostgreSQL database and uses the latest AWS technologies and microservices; AWS Lambdas. In this role, you will design and implement AG Mednet products and technologies using complex JAVA applications in real-world production settings, while collaborating with other brilliant engineers to help drive and continuously improve our engineering best practices and technical vision for the platform. Education/Work Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-6 years of experience in Java development, installation and modification; strong design skills, oo programming and experience with writing design specs.
- Solid experience with Java applications and background should include robust development, testing and debugging practices, leaning towards agile methodologies.
- Effective interpersonal skills for working with colleagues and customers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
- Working knowledge of network concepts as they relate to application development.
- Experience with relational databases.
- Ability to locate, evaluate, learn and incorporate open-source components and tools to accelerate development.
- Experience with Git or equivalent repositories.
- Self-starter; able to dig into a new project or technology with little assistance.
- Very strong in current Java technologies including Hibernate and Spring. Should have experience creating and consuming RESTful web services. Client-side technologies include HTML5, JavaScript, Angular, JQuery.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with microservices and experience the latest AWS technologies; e.g. DynamoDB and Lambda Functions.
