The Impact You'll Be Contributing to MolocoHelp shape the reliability, scalability, and performance of Moloco's Commerce Media platform, ensuring our customers can run mission-critical retail media and commerce advertising at global scale. In this role, you'll drive foundational infrastructure and SRE practices that enable product teams to move quickly while maintaining a highly available and secure environment.
The Opportunity- Design and evolve highly available, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure for Moloco Commerce Media services across cloud environments.
- Build and automate resilient CI/CD, deployment, and configuration management pipelines to improve release safety and developer velocity.
- Develop, refine, and operate observability frameworks (metrics, logs, traces, alerting, dashboards) that provide deep visibility into Commerce Media systems.
- Champion reliability-focused practices such as SLOs, capacity planning, incident response, and post-incident reviews for critical Commerce Media workloads.
- Collaborate with product engineering, data, and security teams to architect infrastructure solutions that meet performance, compliance, and customer SLAs.
How Do I Know if the Role is Right For Me?- Bring 5 years of professional software engineering or SRE experience, including ownership of production systems at scale in a cloud environment.
- Operate large-scale distributed systems on public cloud platforms (commonly GCP or AWS) using containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Leverage infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (for example Terraform, Helm, or similar) to define, manage, and version-control infrastructure.
- Apply strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (such as Go, Java, or Python) to build tools, services, and automation for infrastructure and reliability.
- Navigate ambiguous, evolving requirements by breaking down complex reliability or scalability problems into iterative, measurable improvements.
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders-such as product engineers, data engineers, and security and operations teams-to align infrastructure choices with Commerce Media business goals.
- Lead or significantly contribute to incident management, on-call operations, and continuous process improvements that raise the reliability bar for critical customer-facing services.

- Region B: Seattle Office, Seattle, Los Angeles/Orange County, San Diego, Austin, Boston, Washington DC Metro Area, Miami
- Region C: All other U.S. locations

$169,200-$211,500 USD

$159,800-$199,750 USD
