  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, QA, product, UX, security, and compliance partners to turn business and user needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Guide architecture and design decisions that improve scalability, reliability, performance, security, privacy, maintainability, and usability.
  • Write and review clear, well-tested code, establish reusable engineering patterns, assess technical tradeoffs, and diagnose complex production issues.
  • Use AI-assisted and agentic development tools to improve engineering quality, productivity, and delivery velocity while applying appropriate validation, security, privacy, and human review.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and responsibly apply new tools, technologies, and engineering practices, including AI and automation, to improve our products, architecture, and software delivery.
  • Mentor developers and support onboarding, knowledge sharing, and continuous growth across the engineering team.

What You Bring
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience in an Agile, team-based environment, including ownership of complex production systems from technical design through release and operational support.
  • 3+ years developing responsive web applications.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or software engineering.
  • Demonstrated professional use of AI-assisted and agentic development tools, with specific examples of improved software quality and delivery velocity.
  • Ability to validate AI-generated work, apply appropriate guardrails and human review, and use AI tooling responsibly in secure environments.
  • Strong full-stack experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS/SASS, or comparable modern technologies.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, and maintainable software architecture.
  • Experience designing and maintaining robust APIs and distributed services using service-oriented and event-driven architectural principles.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or other relational databases and Entity Framework Core or a comparable ORM framework.
  • Experience shaping architecture and design decisions and working across automated testing, code review, release management, and production support.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, microservices, and container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Mobile or cross-platform development experience with Ionic, Capacitor, or comparable technologies.
  • Experience building AI-enabled product features, LLM integrations, agentic workflows, automation frameworks, developer tools, or internal productivity platforms.
  • Experience in healthcare technology, behavioral health software, EHR systems, or another regulated environment, including familiarity with HIPAA.
