We are seeking professionals with expertise inSQL database development, and additional experience with programming languages such asC, C++, Python, or Java. As a member of ourSoftware Center of Excellence, you will take part in solving complexDigital Engineering challengesand contribute to the Navys critical mission of modernizing systems to maintain technological superiority.
Successful candidates will demonstrate excellentcommunication skills, an aptitude for problem solving, and the ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment as well as work independently when needed.
Essential Responsibilities- Develop and implementdatabase solutions using SQLto support Naval projects.
- Demonstrate proficiency in one or more programming languages, specificallyC, C++, Java, orPython.
- Support senior developers in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, integration, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions.
- ApplyAgile developmentprinciples to ensure flexibility and adaptability in meeting changing project requirements.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers to deliver high-quality, mission-critical software solutions.
Minimum Requirements- Experience:010 years of experience in software or database development.
- Education:Bachelors degree inComputer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another applicable technical field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Security Clearance:Ability to obtain and maintain aDepartment of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
- Other:Must possess avalid drivers licenseand have the ability to drive on and off base.
Preferred Qualifications- Proficiency inSQL database developmentand familiarity with programming languages such asC, C++, Java, and Python.
- Knowledge ofAgile Developmentframeworks and methodologies.
- Experience with software development tools such asGitandJenkins.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support complex engineering tasks.
- Background in mathematics or computational modeling is a plus.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

Compensation Details:
US: $110,000 to $190,000
