Job Summary

The Senior Social Media Editor is responsible for leading the launch, strategy, and execution of social media content to support product marketing and audience growth initiatives. This role develops and oversees platform strategy, drives engagement, and converts followers into loyal users through compelling, performance-driven content.

The position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills who can translate brand objectives into effective social storytelling. The role also includes managing a direct report and collaborating cross-functionally to align social efforts with broader marketing priorities. This is a hybrid work position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms
  • Own and maintain daily and monthly content calendars aligned with marketing goals
  • Oversee content creation, publishing, and optimization to ensure consistency in voice and quality
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and execute campaigns
  • Identify growth opportunities through data insights, trends, and cultural moments
  • Analyze channel and campaign performance and deliver actionable weekly reporting
  • Conceive, pitch, and appear in original content and recurring social franchises
  • Drive audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility
  • Contribute to hands-on content creation including scripting, filming, editing, and caption writing as needed
  • Manage and mentor at least one direct report

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent training and experience
