Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices across enterprises.
  • Define and manage service level indicators (SLIs), service level objectives (SLOs), and error budgets.
  • Drive automation in operational processes and incident response workflows.
  • Lead investigations into incidents, performing root cause analyses and post-incident reviews.
  • Design and implement observability, monitoring, alerting, and self-healing systems.

What You Will Do
  • Lead implementation of Site Reliability Engineering practices across enterprise environments.
  • Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and reliability metrics.
  • Drive automation of operational processes and incident response workflows.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
  • Design and implement observability, monitoring, alerting, and self-healing solutions.


What You Will Need:
  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
  • US Citizenship is contractually required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of SEVEN (7)+ years of overall work experience.
  • Experience supporting large-scale cloud platforms.
  • Strong AWS operational experience.
  • Experience with production operations, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Experience with container orchestration, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code.


What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • AWS Professional certification.
  • Google SRE or related reliability engineering experience.
  • Experience supporting highly available enterprise environments.
  • Experience with Chaos Engineering practices.
  • Familiarity with geospatial platforms including ArcGIS Enterprise.


The annual salary range for this position is $106,000.00-$176,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
