Leads a technical team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and manages all aspects of application development and the SharePoint Online environment, including design, architecture, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, and security. Serves as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and develops strategies for the best use of SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform to deliver complete business solutions.

  • Lead and manage the technical team through the full software development lifecycle, including defining system architecture, overseeing code quality, and coordinating project tasks and timelines.
  • Report project status and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint solutions, including custom workflows, web parts, and applications, integrated with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of the SharePoint environment.
  • Monitor and secure the SharePoint portal to meet organizational and compliance requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions that improve business processes.
  • Provide technical leadership on SharePoint best practices, architecture, and governance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with 8-10 years of relevant experience in SharePoint development, administration, and architecture. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience managing technical teams, coordinating project tasks, reporting status, and serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications
