Full Job Description
The Senior Service Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships within the commercial and industrial markets. This role focuses on identifying customer challenges and delivering customized solutions involving HVAC, mechanical, electrical, building automation, and preventative maintenance services. Success in this position requires strong consultative selling skills, strategic account management, and the ability to consistently achieve aggressive sales targets.

Locations: Dallas, TX area with travel to local project sites

Salary + Commission Structure: Around $120k

Senior Service Sales Representative Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level decision-makers across major commercial and industrial accounts
  • Manage a portfolio of high-value customers while identifying opportunities to increase service offerings and long-term partnerships
  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach activities
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, customer interactions, and pipeline information within the company's CRM system
  • Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for maintenance agreements, equipment upgrades, repair projects, and system improvements
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and project teams to develop cost-effective solutions that meet client objectives
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing customer accounts through additional service offerings and capital improvement projects
  • Consistently meet or exceed established sales goals while maintaining a healthy pipeline of future opportunities
  • Develop strategic account plans designed to maximize customer retention and long-term revenue growth
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to better position company services

Senior Service Sales Representative Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field. Equivalent combination of education and extensive industry experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical, electrical, building automation, or related technical sales.
  • Demonstrated success selling directly to building owners, property managers, and commercial decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to generate and manage annual sales exceeding $5 million.
  • Strong history of retaining and expanding key customer accounts.
  • Experience developing maintenance agreements, retrofit projects, and service-based solutions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience utilizing CRM software to manage customer relationships and sales pipelines.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of the commercial service industry and competitive marketplace.
