Title:

Senior Security Specialist

KBR is seeking a Security Specialist to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI.  An active U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Job duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Administers and coordinates the DoD, SAP, IC or other industrial security programs and other security activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures that are non-IT related.
  • Typical security related issues may include physical access to buildings, room, couriers, clearances, packages, documentation and debriefings.
  • Develops and implements security procedures in coordination with government agencies and management personnel.
  • Conducts security briefings.
  • Participates in the development of and conducts security education programs.
  • Investigates losses and security violations and recommends corrective actions.
  • Maintains liaison with outside agencies.
  • Develops and implements procedures and coordinates procedure manual revisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4 years experience in a DoD, SAP, IC or other Industrial Security programs and in-depth knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM, SAP, IC or other government security regulatory manuals.
  • Excellent communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • COMSEC account experience
  • Experience with SAP and IC networks accounts.

Work Environment:

  • Location: On-site
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
  • Working Hours: Full-time; 40 hours per week

Basic Compensation: The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
