Full Job Description
Summary:

As a YA Senior Scheduling Consultant, you will be working independently to lead all phases of the construction planning & scheduling process. Senior Scheduling Consultants are responsible for performing inspections of project sites to evaluate project progress, conducting analysis of project documents and data, effectively relaying findings, and updating schedules. Senior Scheduling Consultants are expected to use a large measure of independent judgement, considering and weighing alternatives when appropriate, taking into account the financial and operational significance of the services being performed.

This is an onsite role based in Phoenix, AZ.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Lead all phases of the construction planning & scheduling process, including the development and maintenance of schedules throughout the project duration.
  • Conduct forensic analysis of project schedules, contemporaneous documentation, and construction costs.
  • Evaluate project progress with the project team.
  • Perform schedule delay analysis to establish the cause and extent of delays and to resolve construction delay claims.
  • Evaluate construction productivity and progress data, extended general conditions, evaluate schedule acceleration, and mitigation option.
  • Assess the impact of project changes and schedule delays, effectively communicating findings.
  • Operates on behalf of clients to monitor and manage timelines, expenses, and other factors critical to operational efficiency and schedule management during all phases of construction.
  • Review and synthesize relevant information to prepare technical project reports.
  • Maintain job files, documentation, and other relevant deliverables.
  • Interface with other department employees, contractors, and clients on a regular basis
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
