Position Summary

Crescent Constructors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to support water, wastewater, and heavy civil construction projects. The Senior Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 or ASTA PowerProjects. This role supports project execution through schedule development, progress reporting, resource coordination, and time-impact analysis while working closely with project teams and field operations.

What You'll Do
  • Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules to support efficient project execution
  • Prepare baseline, proposal, and recovery schedules for review and approval
  • Analyze critical and near-critical paths and identify potential schedule impacts
  • Review subcontractor and vendor schedules for logic, accuracy, and contract compliance
  • Perform jobsite walks to verify progress and support accurate schedule updates
  • Prepare progress reports, trending charts, and schedule variance analyses
  • Develop and distribute three-week look-ahead schedules and other schedule updates
  • Support change order, delay, and time-impact analyses
  • Assist with resource loading and manpower forecasting as required
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior planners and schedulers
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor


What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scheduler on water, wastewater, or heavy/highway construction projects
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 or ASTA PowerProjects required
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, logic development, and schedule controls
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and related reporting tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred
  • Field operations experience strongly preferred
  • Flexibility to relocate for assigned projects
