Position Description: We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to support the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions that support critical business operations. This role focuses on complex application development, integrations, and enhancements within an enterprise environment.

This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities: We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to support the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions that support critical business operations. This role focuses on complex application development, integrations, and enhancements within an enterprise environment.
You'll work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate requirements into functional Salesforce solutions. The role involves hands-on development across Salesforce technologies, following established best practices and ensuring high-quality, secure, and compliant implementations. Given the client's ecosystem, exposure to cloud platforms (including AWS) and integration-heavy environments is key.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 8+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components)
. Strong command of SOQL/SOSL for data querying and manipulation
. Experience implementing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and OAuth
. Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems, ideally within cloud ecosystems (AWS exposure is a strong plus)
. Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Salesforce DX
. Strong front-end development skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) within Lightning or Visualforce frameworks
. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and iterative delivery models
. Comfortable reviewing code, enforcing best practices, and maintaining high test coverage
. Ability to troubleshoot complex defects across multiple testing cycles and environments
. Working knowledge of at least one additional backend language (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js)
. Familiarity with Salesforce administration concepts (security, workflows, validation rules, process automation)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $95,800.00 - $154,300.00.
