The
Senior Sales Representative - Services at Landmark Structures will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence. This individual will not only provide technical expertise but also possess the ability to manage full-cycle sales and long-term asset management programs directly with municipal water utilities. Strong technical writing skills, experience with municipalities, and preferably an engineering degree will be essential in this role. With a strong presence in the industry, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our clients.
Essential Functions:- Develop and grow revenue within the Tank Services business by developing and executing a focused sales strategy, deepening relationships with customers, and delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs. Consistently achieve sales targets through strong pipeline management, effective prospecting, and collaboration with operations to ensure exceptional service delivery and long-term customer satisfaction.
- Manage the entire sales pipeline from initial lead generation to closing of contract.
- Collaborate with clients, to analyze system needs. Offer solutions and act as the subject matter expert for Utility Managers and Municipal Leaders.
- Review, approve, and improve responses to market solicitations such as RFPs and RFQs and position Landmark competitively
- Track all sales activities, forecast pipeline and maintain accurate client databases.
- Develop and sustain relationships with key decision-makers to retain business and win contracts.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and clearly articulate the value proposition and ROI to potential clients.
- Provide strategic input in the development and ongoing improvement of sales tools, methods, and organizational sales strategies.
- Analyze sales performance and market data to inform decision-making and anticipate shifts in demand or competitive activity.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics across multiple US markets. Use this knowledge to adapt sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Mentor and support junior sales staff to enhance team capacity and prepare for future succession planning.
- Represent Landmark at client meetings, trade shows, industry events, and conferences to promote brand awareness and strengthen market presence.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or relevant experience
- Proven experience in technical sales, particularly within the industrial equipment or infrastructure sectors
- 5+ years of successful, progressive experience in complex technical sales in water treatment, asset management or municipal sectors.
- Experience working with municipalities and government entities.
- Strong ability to produce technical white papers and documentation.
- High competency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and CRM platforms.
- Strategic thinking and ability to use data to guide decision-making.
- Highly motivated and capable of focused intent to achieve sales targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs effectively.
