Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
Senior Concrete Sales Representative to lead sales efforts in a designated territory. This role focuses on high-value clients, strategic account growth, and mentoring junior sales staff. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the concrete or construction materials industry and a proven track record in B2B sales, relationship management, and territory development.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage a portfolio of key accounts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and customer presentations for complex projects.
- Work closely with operations, dispatch, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure successful delivery and performance.
- Provide technical guidance to clients regarding mix designs, specs, site logistics, and best practices.
- Track and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy.
- Mentor and support junior sales representatives, assisting with deal structuring and customer relationship management.
- Collaborate with leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and territory planning.
Qualifications:- 5+ years of sales experience in concrete, construction materials, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of concrete products, specifications, and application methods.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage long sales cycles and close high-value deals.
- Familiarity with construction project timelines, bid processes, and job site operations.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Existing network of construction professionals within the territory.
