Opportunity

Reporting to the Vertical Lead, the role is expected to execute country’s industry vertical strategy, develop and grow the company’s vertical footprint, and lead & support global/regional/local Key Accounts, and deliver financial results in-line with agreed budgets and targets.

Take lead on driving end-to-end and value added solutions, and development on target accounts with sizeable potential.

Key Responsibilities

Client Strategy and planning

  • Drive growth of targeted customers within the vertical(s)

  • Manage and develop the relationship with the sub-entity of the contractual customer in line with Maersk/global strategy

  • Develop global/local value proposition to penetrate new business

  • Develop global/local business plan for increasing overall supply chain Share of Wallet and position Logistic & Services products

  • Identify new markets/ target customer and develop vertical specific solutions and services in cooperation with corporate, regional and local functions as well as Product

  • Develop account business plans that encompass ocean as well as Logistic & Services products on global scale (where relevant)

  • Define the global value proposition and work closely with product/solutions to build E2E solutions supporting revenue growth across products (where relevant)

Responsible for Customer Satisfaction

  • Support the overall customer experience and support global value proposition

  • Organize and connect the global Maersk team across functions, products and area for overall customer experience (where relevant)

Deliver client profitability as per budget

  • Ensure successful business onboarding and contract compliance

  • ensure business growth and profitability of accounts

Customer Relationship

  • Position Maersk towards the global/regional/local influencers of the global tender success and towards local decision makers on country relevant products

  • Position Maersk for access to the right stakeholders, influencers and decision makers throughout the customer organisation (where relevant)

  • Hunt and grow Maersk footprint with new logos or growing our SOW with existing customers from an L&S perspective - live our integrator vision

We are looking for

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Sales and Key Accounts Development, preferably with a strong background across Ocean and Airfreight products.

  • Strong exposure and expertise in the FMCG vertical in Indonesia is preferred

  • Broad multimodal logistics knowledge with strong consultative selling capability

  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate matrix organisations

  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen

  • Financially savvy, strategic thinker, and value-creation mindset

  • Self-driven and able to operate independently in a dynamic environment

  • Proficiency in English is required;
