What is the opportunity?

As a Senior Life Insurance Consultant, you will be developing relationships through marketing, joint field work and training producers on RBC Insurance's Life products. Your assigned territory for this role would be South West Ontario, Kitchener, Waterloo as well as select accounts in the GTA and Northern Ontario. By achieving growth targets within your assigned territory, you will enjoy the benefits of a high earning potential

What will you do?
  • Partner with Inside Wholesalers to develop and enhance existing and new relationships with insurance advisors in a defined territory with the goal of increasing the sales of RBC Insurance Products
  • Identify, prioritize and strengthen relationships with top advisors
  • Be first point of contact for top advisors (respond to inquiries, suggestions, complaints and requests for marketing support, etc
  • Build profitable MGA/Brokerage relationships, achieving business growth goals, revenue plans and cost controls
  • Partner with Inside Wholesaler and Sales Support to maximize sales from all advisors
  • Deliver presentations to advisors on sales concepts, market and product updates
  • Increase external network to contribute to the community and to capitalize on business opportunities (Centre of influence)


What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • Professional sales experience that demonstrates a hunger and passion achieved through opportunity spotting, cross-selling, and meeting/exceeding targets
  • A talent for listening, establishing trust with prospects, a dedication to finding the right solutions for clients
  • An existing network of referrals and/or centres of influence
  • A flair for building relationships and a strong work ethic
  • A LLQP (Life License) and a University degree or equivalent
  • Life Insurance Sales experience
  • Valid driver's license and owning a vehicle
  • Capability of travelling for business (within territory and in other provinces)


Nice to Have
  • Wholesale Insurance Experience
  • Extensive knowledge of the Life market and MGA model
  • Professional Designation in Financial Planning (CFP, CLU)

The expected pay range for this position is:
$67,000.00 - $110,000.00
