The Senior SailPoint Engineer role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • May maintain or oversee the maintenance of existing technical solutions

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences
  • 4 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Hands-on development experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and/or SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC), including building workflows, developing custom rules, creating/customizing connectors, and implementing other platform customizations (not limited to administration or operational support)
  • Proven track record leading or significantly contributing to large-scale AM transformations or platform migrations in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, including provisioning, deprovisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and access certifications
  • Demonstrated experience operating within highly regulated environments (e.g., financial services) with strict audit, risk, and control requirements
  • Strong programming or scripting skills (Java, Python, BeanShell, or similar) for customization, rule development, and automation
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, with hands-on experience in Oracle and PostgreSQL environments
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations using APIs (REST/SOAP), message queues, or other enterprise integration patterns
  • Solid understanding of access governance concepts, including Segregation of Duties (SoD) and regulatory frameworks such as SOX or FFIEC
  • Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures and deliver results by working across multiple teams (security, infrastructure, application teams, audit, etc.)
  • Experience working in controlled environments with change management, SDLC governance, and documentation requirements
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to drive issues to resolution across system boundaries
  • Ability to effectively leverage AI/LLM-based tools and other modern developer productivity tools in day-to-day workflows, including troubleshooting, analysis, documentation, and solution development
  • Shows curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to reimagine how we work.


Desired Experiences
  • Direct, hands-on experience migrating from SailPoint IdentityIQ to Identity Security Cloud (ISC), including design, data migration, and cutover strategy
  • Deep, hands-on experience with AWS in a large enterprise environment, including familiarity with IAM, networking, and cloud-native integration patterns
  • Experience designing cloud-based identity architectures, including hybrid (on-premises and cloud) identity patterns
  • Familiarity with modern security models such as zero trust and least privilege access
  • Experience with enterprise directory services (Active Directory, LDAP, Entra ID) and their integration with IAM platforms
  • Experience implementing or supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in a controlled enterprise environment
  • Experience supporting internal or external audits, including evidence gathering and control validation
  • Ability to influence technical direction and drive alignment across teams with competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical and risk concepts to non-technical stakeholders
