Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for an experienced roadway engineer in any of our Virginia, Maryland and DC office locations. Responsibilities include: - Serve as a design lead for department of transportation and/or municipal transportation improvement projects - Preparing/reviewing designs, specifications, and cost estimates for roadway projects - Preparing construction documents including stamping finalized plans for roadway projects - Ensuring transportation group and Mead & Hunt policies and procedures are followed - Preparing task and contract technical and price proposals - Managing project and contracts deliverables, budget and schedules - Leading business development opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic region - Other civil engineering projects in other locations as needed Some travel will be required.
