Under the direction of the Supervisor/Manager/Director, the Sr RCP will provide respiratory care appropriate to the area of assignment, adult, pediatric, and neonatal. Perform all duties of blood gas analysis including stick, draw, analysis and reporting.
Required qualifications:- Certification from a Respiratory Therapy Program, Or
- Completion of 2-year certificate from an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
- Upon hire: California Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.
- Within 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association.
- 1 year Critical care experience in adult and neonatal intensive care.
Preferred qualifications:- Upon hire: PALS Instructor
- Upon hire: Instructor Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association.
- Experience as charge or Lead Respiratory Care Practitioner.
