Full Job Description
What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee maintenance and reliability engineering tasks, including the redesign, upkeep, and repair of utility/process systems, buildings, and equipment.

  • Contribute to moderately complex projects, managing time effectively and developing short-term work plans.

  • Provide engineering support for developing scopes of work, project execution plans, and engineering studies for equipment installation or modification.

  • Offer operational support, review preventive and corrective work orders, and manage technical writing and document reviews.

  • Ensure calibration/preventive maintenance compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices, contemporary technologies, and best aseptic practices.

  • Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis investigations and update equipment reliability plans, collaborating with Production and Quality Team Leads.

  • Promote workplace safety by following site safety procedures and performing proactive safety assessments.

  • Actively participate in site and corporate initiatives, and serve as a liaison between quality, operations, and regulatory/compliance for timely closure of investigations.

  • Analyze CMMS data to perform equipment reliability evaluations.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience  

  • Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis, Equipment Criticality Ranking, PM/PdM optimization, and/or Failure Modes and Effects Analysis

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of MS Excel

  • Ability to manage complex issues and foster consensus among teams

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (part of GxP)
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Proficiency in technical writing and document reviews
  • Knowledge of contemporary technologies and best aseptic practices
  • Proactive approach to promoting safety within the workplace
  • Experience with process automation systems
  • Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, includingrisk management and ethical use
Physical / Mental requirements
  • Lifting, sitting, standing, walking, bending, ability to perform mathematical calculations and ability to perform complex data analysis.

Non-Standard work schedule, travel or environment requirements
  • This role support 7/24 hours operation which may require phone or in person support during off hours and weekends.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $82,700.00 to $137,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer27s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 10.0% of the base salary.
