Summary:

The Senior Reimbursement Analyst assists the Manager Government Reimbursement in maintaining the HBOC TRENDSTAR / TRENDPATH / QUANTUM, Contract Management, and other related systems across the hospitals of Catholic Health. The analyst acts as a liaison between the individual hospitals and the Government Reimbursement Team. The analyst's primary responsibility will be to gather and translate specific hospital information to usable form to build and maintain all decision support systems. In addition, the analyst will provide assistance and support to the Director Government Reimbursement & Managed Care in preparation of cost reports and maximization of reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

EXPERIENCE

  • Five (5) to seven (7) years experience in health care finance
  • Experience with third party reimbursement regulations and contract analysis of third party agreements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Strong background in quantitative analysis, cost and product line concepts, personal computer and systems development
  • Ability to work effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization
