Full Job Description
Responsibilities (Leveraging AI):
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex, responsive user interfaces using React and its ecosystem: Utilize AI-powered tools (e.g., v0.dev, GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate UI development, generate component boilerplate, suggest optimal state management patterns, and enforce design system consistency. Leverage AI for component architecture validation and accessibility improvements.
  • Architect and optimize client-side state management and data fetching from RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring a responsive and seamless user experience: Employ AI to analyze component rendering performance, suggest memoization and lazy loading strategies, and optimize data fetching patterns. AI-driven tools can also assist in generating mock API data for rapid prototyping.
  • Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines for front-end applications to facilitate rapid and reliable software delivery: Integrate AI into CI/CD processes for intelligent visual regression testing, automated accessibility (a11y) checks, predictive analysis of bundle size impacts, and optimization of front-end build times.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers, to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software: Use AI-powered communication and summarization tools to streamline requirement gathering, analyze user feedback, and translate design specifications into technical tasks.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level front-end engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning: Leverage AI platforms for personalized learning paths on front-end technologies, automated code feedback on UI components, and explanations of complex rendering concepts.
  • Actively research and experiment with AI technologies to identify opportunities for enhancing developer productivity, improving UI/UX, and ensuring code quality: Continuously explore emerging AI tools and techniques (such as AI-driven design-to-code converters) and assess their applicability to our front-end development ecosystem.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for the front-end: Utilize AI-powered code analysis tools to pre-scan code for potential bugs, performance bottlenecks, accessibility issues, and style deviations, allowing human reviewers to focus on UX and architectural integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in front-end applications, ensuring stability, performance, and cross-browser compatibility: Implement AI-driven user session analysis to identify rage clicks and UI dead ends, leverage AI for rapid debugging of complex state issues, and automate error reporting analysis.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and technical roadmap for our front-end architecture and design systems: Employ AI to analyze industry trends in UI technology, forecast the evolution of frameworks, and prioritize roadmap initiatives based on data-driven insights.
  • Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of front-end development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgment: Augment human analytical capabilities with AI-powered data analysis and pattern recognition to rapidly assess complex UI/UX challenges and inform robust decision-making.
  • Recommend and develop security measures for the client-side, ensuring successful system design and functionality: Use AI-driven security analysis tools to continuously monitor front-end code for vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS) and recommend adaptive security controls.
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes for front-end development: Utilize AI for automated compliance checks against defined procedures and for suggesting improvements to development workflows based on performance data.
Required Technical Skills:
  • Core Web Fundamentals: Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3 (including Flexbox, Grid, and modern layout techniques), and advanced JavaScript (ES6+)/TypeScript.
  • Frameworks: Extensive experience with the React Framework (React 16.8+, including Hooks, Context API) and its ecosystem.
  • State Management: Proficiency with modern state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.
  • UI/UX & Design Systems: Proven experience translating Figma/Sketch designs into pixel-perfect, responsive UIs. Experience with component libraries like Material-UI, Ant Design, or building and maintaining custom design systems.
  • API Integration: Strong proficiency in consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • CI/CD & Build Tools: Hands-on experience with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite), package managers (NPM, Yarn), and CI/CD practices for web applications.
  • Testing: Experience with unit and component testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and end-to-end testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
  • Web Performance (Beneficial): Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques (code splitting, lazy loading, memoization) and profiling tools (Lighthouse, React DevTools).
AI Tools & Methodologies (Must):
  • Demonstrable exposure and practical experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, v0.dev, Claude, and Codex.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, prompt engineering, and integrating AI into software development workflows (e.g., for code generation, testing, debugging, and documentation).
  • A keen desire to apply AI technologies to improve software development processes and outcomes.
Recommended Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in a Front-End or UI Developer role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of their core concepts and the browser rendering pipeline.

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Front-End Development (e.g., Performance, Accessibility, State Management).
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
