  • Support supplier quality initiatives, including audits and qualification.
  • Ensure integrity of inspection systems, test methods, calibration programs, and data reporting.

Senior Quality Manager

The Senior Quality Manager leads functional and site quality execution with accountability for product quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. This role translates global quality strategy into site-level execution, drives continuous improvement, and ensures effective deployment of Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead deployment and sustainment of the QMS, ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
  • Drive product and process quality improvements through manufacturing capability enhancement and risk reduction initiatives.
  • Own site-level customer quality performance, including complaints, returns, corrective actions, and RCCA effectiveness.
  • Lead internal audits and support external audits; ensure findings are addressed with robust corrective actions.
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, engineering and product management to ensure quality is built into processes and new product introductions.
  • Support supplier quality initiatives, including audits and qualification.
  • Ensure integrity of inspection systems, test methods, calibration programs, and data reporting.
  • Drive adoption of statistical methods (SPC, capability analysis) to improve process control and reduce variation.
  • Promote risk-based thinking through FMEA, control plans, and process mapping.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with site KPIs and business priorities.


Leadership and Accountability
  • Lead and develop site quality team members, including performance management and capability building.
  • Translate functional strategy into clear execution plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Provide objective, data-driven insight to site leadership team.
  • Foster a culture of quality ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide direct leadership of the analytical laboratory through the Quality Lab Manager, with accountability for laboratory performance, team capability, and alignment to quality and operational priorities.


Key Relationships:
  • Operations Manager's, Site Quality Leaders, Product Managers, Marketing, Sales and Procurement.

Travel Requirements:
  • Up to 10%


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 7-10 years of experience in quality management within manufacturing.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001; AS9100 experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead RCCA and complex problem-solving initiatives.
  • Experience with SAP QM and quality data systems.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree or MBA.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
  • Experience in advanced materials, ceramics, or semiconductor-related industries.
  • Strong background in statistical methods and process control.
  • Project management experience.


This position will earn a variable compensation including annual base salary and annual bonus. Base salary range takes into consideration experience, education, and training. Not to mention all the amazing benefits available for employee selection as well.
