As an Senior Quality Management Professional you will:- Lead and conduct internal quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and company procedures.
- Develop annual audit schedules and audit plans.
- Develop project specific monthly audit plan summaries.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of processes, controls, and quality management practices.
- Document audit findings and prepare detailed reports for management and Clients.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely resolution of non-conformances.
- Support external certification and surveillance audits.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continual improvement within a quality management system.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on quality requirements and audit readiness.
- Maintain audit records and quality documentation.
- Attending site meetings and conducting site visits to review inspection test plans and conducting quality checks.
- Review of project drawings and specifications, as well as applicable external specifications and standards, to ensure quality control and compliance.
To apply to this position, you should expect to have:- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Course Certificate required
- Minimum of 7 years of experience conducting quality audits and working within a Quality Management System
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 principles, requirements, and auditing methodologies
- Experience within engineering, consulting, environmental, or professional services organizations preferred
- Experience performing root cause analysis and managing corrective and preventative actions
- Strong analytical, organizational, and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, taking ownership of delegated tasks
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Open to travel for remote projects
- Have a valid Ontario driver's license and access to a vehicle
