Description

  • Adhere to and promote the health and welfare policy at Auria STC
  • Follow Auria's Code of Conduct
  • Follow one's fundamental understanding of quality principles, systems, and tools to build quality into the plant processes and products
  • Promote positive working relations with internal and external customers through a proactive approach and the proper application of internal and customer mandated systems and tools as required
  • Use appropriate problem-solving methodology to assess, root cause, and correct quality deficiencies exhibited in plant processes of products
  • Promote and audit for adherence to the plant documented IATF corporate and plant level procedures as required
  • Use proper measurement instruments and statistical analysis tools to quantify and qualify products produced as required
  • Create a work environment that drives continuous improvement

Safety:
  • Drive improvement actions based on results from Global Safety Audit
  • Complete S.A.F.E. audits as assigned by your Quality Manager
  • Participate in safety committee meetings as assigned by your Quality Manager
  • Escalate any major incidents in accordance with Company policy

Quality:
  • Provide input to daily accountability meeting as required
    • Customer score cards
    • New customer / supplier concerns
    • Active containment status report
    • Status of Poke Yokes
    • Temporary Operating Deviations
  • Build quality into the product and or process through the use of APQP tools
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of PFMEA's and Control Plans
    • Management of customer specific systems and Prolink in relationship to Quality functions
  • Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
    • Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA)
    • Dimensional layout and process capability
    • Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plan development
    • Other requirements as listed in AIAG PPAP manual
    • Will monitor VPP per customer requirements
  • Ensure customer feedback is effective and timely
    • Customer systems are monitored daily for any new issues.
    • Representatives of Auria located at the customer have quick and reliable access to you or those parties required to immediately alert the Auria plant of an issue.
    • Written concerns are responded to within the customer expectation of time.
    • On-site reviews of quality are done at the customer from time to time to aid in building positive customer relations.
  • Maintain and fill your directed role in approved quality systems including but not limited to:
    • IATF / ISO internal auditing and corrective actions
    • Fast Response
    • Layered Process Audits
    • Maintenance and development of level II work instructions and procedures
    • Quality Gates
    • Customer Satisfaction Audits (CSA)
    • Quality Tracking System (QTS)
    • Supplier Quality Tracking System (SQTS)
  • Utilize proven problem solving and statistical analysis techniques as appropriate to root cause and correct quality deficiencies

    • Process Capability Analysis
    • ANOVA

Education:
  • BS/BA required

Experience:
  • Requires 3-5 years

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of IATF16949 standards
  • Tier 1 automotive experience with working knowledge of customer systems
