Our client is looking for a
Senior Quality Assurance Analyst with SQL, PowerBI and Databricks to perform end to end data testing (validation, migration reporting) This role requires you to be onsite 3 days/week in either Calgary or Edmonton
Must Haves
- 7+ years' experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst
- Capability to understand the technical and functional impact.
- Good understanding the role of environment & integrations while testing the project requirements
- Experience in performing SIT and End to End testing in a multi-vendor environment.
- Must have testing experience on projects requiring data migration, data validation and report testing
- Proficient in writing the SQL
- Experience with Databricks, Power BI and Azure SQL will be an advantage.
Requirements:
- Understand the existing solution and integration design, existing business processes
- Prepare a test plan for the project.
- Work with the business analyst and architecture team to identify the impacted scenarios and work with project team for test planning and execution.
- Identify the potential scenarios for automation.
- Write details test cases and execute then in X-Ray
- Drive the trouble shooting calls with project and development partner, ensure those are updated in Jira.
- Ensure that quality gate checks are signed off.
- Provide a daily status report on defect and execution, escalate the issues to the project for faster resolution.
