5+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, Test Automation, and QA Team Leadership.
Strong expertise in Manual Testing, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Defect Management, and Agile methodologies.
Lead and mentor a team of 5-8 QA engineers, driving quality initiatives across web and enterprise applications.
Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
Coordinate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC and STLC.
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and TestNG, increasing automation coverage from 40% to 85%.
Reduce regression testing effort by 60% through automation enhancements and continuous process improvements.
Perform Functional, Integration, System, Smoke, Regression, UAT, and End-to-End testing activities.
Conduct API testing using Postman and REST Assured to validate service integrations and transaction workflows.
Execute database validation and backend testing using complex SQL queries across Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and Cassandra databases.
Review BRDs, FRS documents, user stories, test artefacts, automation scripts, and defect reports to ensure quality standards.
Drive defect management activities, defect triage meetings, root cause analysis, and pre-production quality assurance.
Leverage AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate automation development and improve team productivity.
Work extensively on banking and payment applications, validating bill payments, payment processing, reconciliation, security controls, and transaction workflows.
Conduct sprint planning, test estimations, release sign-offs, and quality reporting while ensuring high-quality, defect-free software deliveries.
