Job Title: Senior Purchasing Specialist
Job Description
The Senior Purchasing Specialist partners with engineering and manufacturing to translate technical requirements into effective sourcing strategies. This role leads procurement for complex, high-value commodities, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery goals are achieved while supporting new product development and driving supplier performance across a global network.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to define sourcing needs
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers for quality, cost, and delivery
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for complex materials and services
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms
  • Support new product development and production timelines
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and sustainability goals
  • Manage purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records (SAP)
