Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience required
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office suite
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Deep understanding of sourcing strategies and cost analysis
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Effective communicator with influencing skills
• Experience sourcing metals (steel, aluminum)
• Familiarity with capital equipment procurement or construction-related sourcing is a plus
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPIM, CSCP) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for various categories
• Lead competitive bidding processes and supplier evaluations
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts for cost savings
• Identify and implement cost reduction and value engineering opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
• Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers
• Support supplier audits and compliance with policies and standards
• Collaborate with project management and engineering teams
• Manage procurement timelines to align with project schedules
• Track and expedite critical materials and services
• Oversee purchase order lifecycle from requisition to delivery
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and internal controls
• Provide market intelligence to stakeholders
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities for materials
