Full Job Description
Position Summary:

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories (e.g., steel, electrical components, mechanical systems, construction services, indirect spend).
  • Lead competitive bidding processes (RFQs, RFPs), supplier evaluations, and total cost of ownership analyses.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and risk mitigation.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction and value engineering opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and contractors.
  • Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to reduce risk and enhance supply flexibility.
  • Support supplier audits and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations teams to support procurement for greenhouse construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage procurement timelines, ensuring alignment with project schedules.
  • Track and expedite critical materials and services to avoid delays.
