Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive systems, propulsion or embedded control systems
• Strong understanding of functional safety (ISO 26262), diagnostics, and OBD regulations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Preferred: Advanced engineering degree
• Preferred: Experience in powertrain systems (ICE, hybrid, electrified)
• Preferred: Familiarity with Agile, ASPICE, or AUTOSAR

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level requirements for functional safety, OBD, and aftersales
• Own the complete functional safety lifecycle including safety cases and assessments
• Define and approve diagnostic strategies for regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regulatory stakeholders
• Drive technical decision-making and mentor engineering team members
• Ensure serviceability and diagnostic readiness in propulsion systems
