Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering with 8-10 years of experience, or Master's with 6-8 years of experience in Propellent Engineering or related fields.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Strong analytical skills for synthesizing and managing energetic materials.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, including government agencies and vendors.
• Knowledge of process safety and regulatory compliance in material handling.
• Proven leadership in multi-disciplinary engineering teams across projects.
• Adaptability in high-pressure environments with changing project scopes.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe and efficient manufacturing in complex production environments with federal clients.
• Understand and implement design requirements for new manufacturing processes.
• Apply analytical techniques for process development, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Oversee project execution from planning to procurement in alignment with customer specifications.
• Communicate design and testing requirements with equipment vendors and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely, quality deliverables aligned with client goals.
• Implement safety and quality programs, ensuring adherence to regulations and client standards.
• Produce detailed design documentation, including process flow diagrams and SOPs.
