Job Description:

We're seeking a Senior Project/Program Manager, Marketing to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale initiatives that support marketing and business goals. In this role, you'll oversee multiple projects, coordinate teams, and help ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with stakeholder expectations.

As both a leader and hands-on contributor, you'll partner with business stakeholders, marketing teams, agency partners, and cross-functional colleagues to support successful outcomes while advancing project & program management best practices across the organization.

This is a remote position with expected travel of approximately 25% to 40% for team collaboration, meetings, and key business initiatives. For candidates interested in relocating, relocation assistance to the Richmond, VA area is available.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects and programs, partnering with business sponsors and marketing teams to define scope, objectives, deliverables, and success measures.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource forecasts, budgets, and execution roadmaps while managing projects through completion.
  • Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams by clarifying responsibilities, establishing priorities, and removing obstacles to progress.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while proactively managing issues, dependencies, and competing priorities.
  • Escalate risks and challenges as needed, providing leadership with clear recommendations and decision-making options.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, agencies, vendors, and external partners to ensure deliverables meet quality expectations and business requirements.
  • Support the development and management of statements of work, timelines, service level expectations, and vendor relationships.
  • Communicate project status, decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
  • Establish and promote project management standards, processes, templates, and governance practices that support consistent execution across programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives, identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency, and implementing process improvements.
  • Mentor and support project managers, coordinators, and team members to strengthen project management capabilities across the organization.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Brand, Creative, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing Operations to ensure alignment and successful program delivery.


We Want You to Have
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive project or program management experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution and completion.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, resource, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex or ambiguous business challenges.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, including experience communicating with and influencing senior leaders.
  • Experience managing agency, vendor, or external partner relationships.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Planner, Smartsheet, Adobe Workfront, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing Adobe Workfront to support project planning, resource management, workflow governance, and execution oversight.
  • Familiarity with both traditional and Agile project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience operating within a large, matrixed organization and collaborating across multiple functions and stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with strong attention to detail and execution.


The starting salary is based on but not limited to experience, knowledge, and qualifications in determining compensation decisions. The Salary Range for this position is: $132,500.00 - $202,100.00.
