Senior Project Procurement Leader - Electronics (New Offer Development)Your missionYou lead procurement for complex, international product development projects, ensuring that sourcing strategy is fully integrated into design and delivery.
You will:
- Own procurement for new product development projects
Manage sourcing activities across multi-site, multi-country projects involving critical electronic technologies. - Shape product architecture early
Contribute to Make-or-Buy decisions and influence design choices to ensure competitiveness, scalability, and supply resilience. - Be the bridge between R&D and suppliers
- Drive supplier and component selection
- Promote standardization and reuse
- Challenge technical and commercial choices
- Ensure alignment between engineering requirements and market capabilities
- Lead sourcing execution end-to-end
- Identify and onboard new suppliers
- Lead qualification processes (including audits)
- Secure sourcing readiness in line with project milestones
- Negotiate and secure competitive agreements
Own cost, contracts, and commercial negotiations for key components and assemblies. - Deliver project performance
Ensure procurement targets are met across: - Cost
- Lead time / time-to-market
- Quality and reliability
- Supply continuity
- Drive industrialization and ramp-up
Ensure smooth transfer to manufacturing and secure production ramp-up, in close collaboration with global plants (North America & Asia). - Act as a procurement leader within the project team
Influence cross-functional decisions, drive value engineering initiatives, and ensure procurement excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $117,600- $147,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
