Role Summary:

The Senior Project Manager is a key member of the Trulieve Product Innovation team, responsible for driving structured, high-quality execution across a high volume of product programs. This role owns the how and when of product development, ensuring programs are clearly planned, consistently tracked, and delivered on time across multiple markets. This role operates in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment where multiple product programs move in parallel. The right candidate is a strong operator who brings structure and visibility to complex initiatives-building and maintaining clear project plans, aligning cross-functional teams, and identifying and resolving risks before they impact launch timelines. This role also serves as a senior presence on the team, helping to reinforce best practices and elevate execution standards across Project Managers.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the project plan for a high volume of concurrent product programs, ensuring timelines, milestones, and cross-functional dependencies are clearly defined and consistently maintained
  • Build and maintain structured, trackable systems (Smartsheet or equivalent) to manage active programs, including dashboards, timelines, and deliverables
  • Maintain clear visibility into program status, risks, and next steps through accurate, up-to-date documentation, reporting, and tracking
  • Run Stage Gate reviews for active programs, ensuring deliverables are completed and programs progress on schedule
  • Align cross-functional teams (Operations, R&D, Regulatory, Packaging, and Retail) around timelines and deliverables, driving accountability without direct authority
  • Identify risks, blockers, and gaps early, and take action to resolve or escalate them to keep programs on track
  • Step into at-risk programs to stabilize execution, realign teams, and drive programs back on schedule
  • Support and mentor other Project Managers by reinforcing best practices and strong execution discipline

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 6-10 years of project or program management experience in CPG, food & beverage, consumer electronics, or a comparable physical products environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing a large number of concurrent projects or product programs with clear structure, tracking, and accountability
  • Strong proficiency with project management tools; Smartsheet experience strongly preferred. Must be comfortable building and maintaining trackers, timelines, and dashboards
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment while maintaining clear visibility into program status, risks, and priorities
  • Experience managing timelines in complex environments, including the ability to identify risks early, escalate issues, and unblock work to keep programs on track
  • Familiarity with manufacturing workflows, supplier coordination, or product development in a physical goods environment
  • PMP certification preferred (or equivalent formal project management training); Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience mentoring or guiding project managers or coordinators preferred

PREFERRED:
  • Experience in cannabis, specialty pharma, or another regulated consumer goods category
  • Exposure to retail or wholesale channel coordination in multi-state or multi-door distribution environments

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
  • Frequently required to remain in a seated position for extended periods of time.
  • Must have visual and auditory acuity with or without aids to perform all functions of the position.
  • Accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas with others, observe/inspect details at varying ranges; operate computing devices.
  • Occasionally required to move/traverse throughout entire facility, including tight spaces both in office and within retail locations.
  • Occasionally required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., products, packaging, tools, office machinery): push/pull objects up to 25lbs; lift/carry/position objects up to 25 lbs.

WORK SCHEDULE:

This is a hybrid role based in Tallahassee, FL or Phoenix, AZ, with an expectation of four days per week in office to support cross-functional collaboration and execution.
