The Opportunity

True Mechanical is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Towers to lead the successful delivery of complex high-rise residential and mixed-use projects throughout the Lower Mainland.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, this role is responsible for the overall execution, financial performance, labour planning, procurement strategy, risk management, and client satisfaction of assigned projects.

This is an opportunity to lead some of British Columbia's most significant construction projects while working alongside a collaborative and highly experienced team. We are looking for a proven construction leader who can build strong relationships, drive project performance, and consistently deliver exceptional results.

What You'll Do
  • Lead complex tower projects from pre-construction through commissioning, occupancy, and warranty turnover.
  • Manage project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, billing, collections, and profitability.
  • Develop and execute project labour plans in collaboration with field leadership and operations teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, owners, consultants, construction managers, and general contractors.
  • Lead project planning, procurement, scheduling, risk management, and execution strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, productivity, and performance to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Manage project risks and proactively develop mitigation and recovery plans where required.
  • Oversee change management processes and ensure all project opportunities are properly captured and executed.
  • Collaborate with VDC, Prefabrication, Construction, Operations, Safety, and Finance teams to optimize project outcomes.
  • Support commissioning, turnover, and warranty activities to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Mentor Project Coordinators and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.


What You Bring
  • 10+ years of project management experience within the mechanical construction industry.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale residential, mixed-use, commercial, or institutional construction projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, piping, and mechanical systems.
  • Strong understanding of project financial management, forecasting, cost control, and contract administration.
  • Experience working directly with developers, consultants, and general contractors.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Experience with Jonas, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and construction management software platforms.
