  • Define project delivery resources, conduct RFPs, evaluate bids, and recommend selections to clients.
  • Facilitate development of project charters and integrated timelines.
  • Monitor project schedules and resolve or escalate issues as needed.
  • Lead meetings to review status and progress of active and pending projects.

About the Role

The Senior Project Manager provides consulting services for our financial services client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. Projects consist of regional retail bank renovation construction projects.

This job is part of the Project Management function responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion. Remote role that requires up to 25%-30% regional travel either in the Eastern or Central time zones.

What You'll Do

Manage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.

Coordinate renovation activities within occupied facilities while minimizing disruptions to business operations.

Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.

Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct complex requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.

Facilitate the development of a charter and integrated timeline.

Ensure all project functions remain on schedule, and issues get resolved or escalated.

Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.

Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the project team through implementation and completion.

Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.

Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.

Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.

Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.

Qualifications

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Financial services client experience required. Retail construction program experience highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Kahua, MS Project, or other project management software.
  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions that have a broad impact on the business.
  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
