Landscape Architect Senior Project Manager - Oklahoma City, OK

Halff is seeking a Landscape Architect, with their Landscape Architect License, to join our Oklahoma City, OK office as a Senior Project Manager. The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years of experience working on the following project types: parks, recreation and trail planning and design; urban park, plaza, streetscape and transportation enhancements; land development; and support for large scale planning projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment to help clients plan, design and implement projects. What you will do:
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of landscape architects, planners, engineers, and others to provide management on a wide variety of public and private landscape architecture and planning projects.
  • Work with design teams and consultants through all design stages from concept through construction
  • Foster and promote a positive, team-oriented environment and office culture
  • Lead teams to complete projects while meeting deadlines and budget requirements
  • Production of CD sets including hardscape, planting, construction details, specifications, and bidding packages
  • Construction methodologies and implementation
  • Manage multiple projects of various scale and complexity simultaneously
  • Anticipate the needs of clients and projects
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing

What you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university
  • Oklahoma registration as a Professional Landscape Architect
  • At least 5 years of experience, minimum, as a Professional Landscape Architect
  • Familiarity preparing proposal/scope of work documents and reviewing invoices/submitting
  • Ability to travel periodically, primarily in state, to support project needs
  • Proficiency with computer applications including AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Well organized, detail oriented and highly motivated
  • Experience in master planning of parks, trails, and recreation is a plus
  • Excellent design skills
