Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager in the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) will lead and manage various GRC quality improvement projects. Position responsibilities include coordinating the research and administrative efforts of project team members; managing relationships with project sponsors and external partners; drafting technical reports and stakeholder communications; providing subject matter expertise on quality improvement and/or health policy projects; and project development, including grant and proposal writing, among other activities (additional details included in "Responsibilities (Duties)" section below). The Senior Project Manager responsibilities may include project-related research and technical assistance, including drafting and formatting change packages and key driver diagrams, creating, and coaching on QI tools, and basic data analysis (dependent on project needs and proficiency with data analysis software, including Excel, creation of charts and graphs, constructing process metrics, etc.).

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of four years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or two years of relevant experience with a master's degree is required. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.

Additional Desired Qualifications

Training and/or experience in quality improvement science included but not limited to the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Breakthrough Series Model, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), or Lean Tools is preferred.
