About the Role

The Project Management Office at Ogilvy Health is responsible for project execution, process improvement, budget management, and resource management across the agency. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale healthcare AOR accounts, acting as a strategic problem-solver and client-facing expert. This role is crucial for independently owning brand verticals, ensuring consistent quality, process adherence and driving project success from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a big-picture mindset, champion continuous process improvement and effectively mentor junior team members.

What You'll Do

Project Management:
  • Independently own and manage a brand vertical, overseeing and managing the full end-to-end project lifecycle for diverse client deliverables, from strategic initiatives to complex digital and print materials.
  • Ensure consistent quality, process adherence, and on-time, on-budget delivery that meets the highest standards.
  • Serve as a primary client-facing expert, providing strategic guidance, managing expectations, and proactively mitigating risks and roadblocks with well-defined solutions.
  • Leads with vision and drive.

Financial Management:
  • Manage project financials for high-complexity projects ($6MM-$10MM range), diligently tracking spend, forecasting, and ensuring revenue targets are met.
  • Partner with Brand Managers on financial planning, scope development, project estimates, and resource forecasting to ensure financial feasibility and optimize resource allocation.
  • Oversee scope changes and their financial impact, leading finance meetings, reviewing trackers, and monitoring actuals.

Team Development & Operational Excellence:
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment; mentor and develop junior PM team members, providing guidance, training, and support for creative problem-solving and process adherence.
  • Drive operational efficiency and continuous process improvements, identifying areas for optimization and contributing to the development of more efficient workflows.
  • Partner with Account teams to create brand Gantt charts, develop launch plans, and manage resource allocation documentation for successful project delivery.

What You'll Need

Experience:
  • 4-6 years of agency project management experience, specifically within healthcare marketing and communications (Pharma advertising required).
  • Proven cross-functional team leadership and Pharma Product Launch experience.

Technical & Financial Acumen:
  • Expertise in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Ziflow) and proficiency with MS Office Suite, Teams, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of multi-channel projects (digital, print, video production) and agency delivery processes.
  • Strong financial aptitude with experience in financial management tools, forecasting, and resource planning.
