Employees in this position oversee all tasks related to the operations of new solar and battery energy storage (BESS) projects. The team strives to ensure operational success through equipment stabilization, personnel training, and optimizing operational efficiencies. The primary function of this role includes analyzing data, developing turnover processes to ensure satisfaction, and managing projects aimed at increasing asset reliability. Additionally, employees in this role manage training schedules for operational engineers and optimize key operational milestones, such as capacity testing and inspections.

Employees are responsible for managing specific functions within the broader team's responsibilities. These functions include QA/QC program oversight and engineering program oversight, among others. A crucial aspect of the role involves synchronizing schedules for hiring, employee onboarding, training, and qualification with concurrent construction and operation activities to ensure seamless integration and efficiency.

Performing detailed data and KPI analysis to produce superior performance outcomes is also a critical aspect of the role. Employees will collaborate with other functional managers to support the larger team's efforts and drive continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the power industry or renewable technology, from construction through operations, or any part thereof.
  • Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience implementing Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with Python

This is an engaged position and involves working closely with various groups such as the OEM's, construction and engineering, Solar Operations, and technical service groups.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates and completes large-scale or several medium or small, complex or long term project(s) within budgetary and scheduling guidelines
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
  • Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
  • Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions
  • Provides information to internal and external clients on moderate to complex issues
  • Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project
  • Provides coaching, leadership and direction to project team
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 4+ years
