About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager - Lead at Turner & Townsend, you will play a pivotal role in delivering complex, critical environment projects for a key tech client. You will be responsible for the successful execution of projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
This is a demanding yet rewarding opportunity where you will oversee and manage the design coordination, procurement, installation, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control systems supporting mission-critical, lab, and clean-room environments, serving as the Owner's Representative across design, construction, and turnover phases.
While the primary focus is on industrial equipment and specialized environments, experience with hospital projects is a valued plus.
This job is part of the Project Management function, responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion.
This is a fully on-site position based in Santa Rosa, CA.
What You'll Do
• Oversee all phases of projects including procurement, contracting, planning, tracking, and execution.
• Ensure contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout are accurate, timely, and compliant.
• Monitor billing, accounts receivable collection, expense monitoring, project staffing, and financial performance.
• Work cross-functionally with other disciplines to achieve strategic business objectives.
• Identify project risks, lead reviews, and develop mitigation plans.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values.
• Lead MEP design coordination and integration of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, BMS, and process utility systems.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of MEP drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate RFIs, substitutions, and technical deviations with design teams and contractors.
• Manage commissioning activities including testing, punch walks, and turnover documentation.
• Conduct field walks to verify installation compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Serve as primary liaison between client, design team, contractors, and facilities stakeholders.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience with mission-critical facilities, labs, and/or clean-room MEP infrastructure required.
• PMP, LEED AP, and/or CCM certification preferred.
• Ability to lead complex communications and problem-solving across stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project/scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Experience with Bluebeam and CMMS platforms preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing MEP scopes across full project lifecycles including long-lead equipment procurement.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $175,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend's applicable benefit program.
