Full Job Description
Role Summary: Reporting to the Location Manager, the Senior Project Manager is a key member of the Construction Sales team. In this role you will work together with our Contractor Sales team to provide quality and detailed quotations, high-level project management and excellent customer service. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate projects to ensure seamless execution from submittal review to close out documents. The Senior Project Manager will be expected to develop professional relationships with key customer positions such as project managers, owners, job site foremen, general managers, etc.
Exciting work you will do:
• Manage/oversee Construction projects from start to finish, including complex, high value projects
• Meet with customers to ensure proper project execution of projects
• Manage project details through the use of Job Management, Microsoft Suite of products and third-party software such as Smartsheets
• Communicate professionally with customers at all levels in an organization
• Review bid documents, specifications, and drawings in order to perform material takeoffs
• Initiate in-person submittal reviews with customers and suppliers
• Make appropriate changes to the job based on returned submittals, using change orders
• Properly select products and quantities to meet specifications and evaluate alternate solutions
• Manage large scale material scheduling and delivery projects with multiple contractors and suppliers
• Work closely with the Location Manager in managing stored material space at Kendall Electric
• Participate in internal and external project coordination meetings with contractors, engineers, and suppliers
• Coordinate and lead weekly project review meetings with internal construction team
• Provide contractor product quotes support
• Train and mentor new associates
• Maintain quality service by adhering to Kendall Group policies, procedures, and standards
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

What you'll need:
• Work Experience: 3 years' project management or quotations experience
• Education: High School diploma or GED
• Analytics/Computer Skills: Experience working with MS Office; ability to collaborate with and engage additional commercial or technical resources when appropriate; strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; Business acumen including problem solving skills, critical thinking, and analytical abilities
• Organization Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed; ability to work in fast-paced, continuously evolving, and at times ambiguous environment
• Cross-functional Skills: Ability to work well cross-functionally; provides excellent internal and external customer service
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal communications, analytical and problem solving, organizational and written/verbal communication skills; strong phone presence and listening skills
• Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear. The employee must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs, and operate a vehicle
• Physical Environment: Normal office environment; warehouse, fabrication environment and exposure to moving equipment
• Driver's License: Possess and maintain a valid driver's license

• Work Experience: 5 years' project management or quotations experience; 5 years of industrial distribution experience
