Full Job Description
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, cross-functional projects aligning with project requirements and client expectations. This role will lead project teams, manage budgets and timelines, and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Your role in our team
- You will define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- You will oversee the full project execution lifecycle from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with contractual, financial, operational, and customer requirements
- You will create and maintain detailed project schedules in MS Project; track project activities, forecast resource demands and expenditures, and proactively manage budget and schedule deviations
- You will identify scope changes, assess associated cost and schedule impacts, and communicate changes and recommendations to customers and stakeholders
- You will serve as the primary point of contact for client-facing communications, technical documentation, project updates, and coordination meetings
- You will partner cross-functionally with engineering, sales, EHS&S, finance, contract management, customer service, and other stakeholders to support successful project execution and issue resolution
- You will lead project risk management and escalation efforts by identifying, assessing, mitigating, and resolving project-related risks and issues across departments
- You will ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements, including oversight of third-party vendors and suppliers and translation of contractual requirements into engineering deliverables
- You will lead project-related procurement activities in partnership with Supply Chain Procurement, including material tracking, equipment receipt, and inventory coordination
- You will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle in coordination with site managers, environmental teams, and the Site Safety Manager
- You will conduct project performance reviews and lessons-learned analyses at key milestones and project closure, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and future project recommendations
- You will travel up to 50% domestically and internationally, as required by business needs
Your profile
- You have obtained a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field
- You have gained 10+ years of progressive experience in project or program management roles
- Your advanced degree or certifications such as PMP or Six Sigma are preferred
- You have proven experience managing complex, large-scale technical projects in material handling, logistics, or automation
- You have proven experience managing large-scale projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and resource planning within the warehouse, distribution, or logistics industry
- You have a strong understanding of system integration project execution processes, dependencies, and cross-functional coordination
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and client relationship management abilities
- You have exceptional planning, organizational, leadership, and influencing skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, and motivate multidisciplinary teams, coordinate cross-functional activities, and operate effectively in a matrixed environment under pressure
- You have demonstrated adaptability, change management, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills in dynamic environments with changing priorities
- You are proficient in project management tools, including MS Project, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite
- You have strong financial and analytical acumen related to cost forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning
- You have demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality and driving continuous improvement across complex project environments
- You have experience working effectively within multicultural and global team environments

This is a full-time, exempt position with a hybrid work schedule for individuals located within Atlanta, Georgia, Irving, Texas, or our Charlotte, NC offices. Employees in these locations are expected to work three days per week in the office. Individuals located outside of these areas will work remotely.
