Senior Project Manager to join our team at K&A Power Group in

Role Expectations: - The Project Manager leads the development of transmission asset capital projects with a strong focus on early scoping, asset-condition identification, capital-planning alignment, and proactively advancing projects to construction-ready status. The role is a key contributor to the Shovel-Ready Initiative, supporting identification and prioritization of transmission asset-condition projects and advancing their design and development to maintain a steady shelf of construction-ready work that mitigates future financial gaps in the capital plan
- Lead early project scoping, feasibility reviews, and constructability assessments
- Collaborate with Engineering and Asset Strategy to identify transmission asset-condition needs
- Advance projects through design, permitting, environmental review, and development milestones
- Develop and maintain schedules focused on construction-readiness milestones
- Track scope, cost, schedule, and risk during the project-development phase
- Support bid-package development and procurement preparation
- Coordinate construction-readiness requirements including access, outages, and material
- planning
What we're looking for: - Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Engineering Management, or Construction Management discipline preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
- 10-15 years• experience including 3 or more years managing major engineering/ procurement/ construction activities
- Strong Safety-First Focus
- Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools
- Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with competing priorities and stressful situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Must be able to travel to office for meetings
Pay Range $150,000• $175,000/year The salary range for this role considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to technical ability, experience and training, licenses and certifications, and other related skillsets. The disclosed range is an estimate and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
