Responsibilities

  • Oversee entire project workflows from kickoff through handover, managing scope development, risk mitigation, change orders, and punch list activities while preventing scope creep through disciplined project controls.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with transaction managers, facilities teams, building engineers, occupancy planners, low voltage managers, and move managers to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Prepare RFPs, lead vendor selection processes, negotiate contracts, and interface regularly with architects, contractors, property managers, and client staff to drive project success.
  • Travel to job sites regularly (up to 80%) to verify performance criteria are met, conduct inspections, and address field issues in real-time.
  • Organize and chair project meetings (in-person and virtual), distribute meeting minutes with clear action items, and provide regular status updates and reporting to client stakeholders.
  • Leverage project management technology and JLL systems to ensure data accuracy, generate client reports, maintain comprehensive documentation, and support continuous process improvement.
  • Provide pricing scenarios during scope development, develop and maintain Risk Registers, and offer expert guidance to clients throughout program development phases.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - JLL

What this job involves:

As a Construction Senior Project Manager for a prestigious national account, you'll serve as the central point of coordination for administrative and construction projects across the Mid-Hudson Valley region of New York. This role combines strategic project oversight with hands-on execution, requiring you to manage the complete project lifecycle from initial scope development through final closeout. You'll work directly with a high-profile client, leading cross-functional teams and managing contractor relationships while ensuring projects meet JLL's rigorous standards for quality, budget, and timeline adherence. This position offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence on complex workplace projects while building lasting client relationships in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
  • 7-10 years of progressive project management experience in corporate real estate, facilities, or construction environments
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with substantial budgets and competing priorities
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles with senior-level stakeholders, including relationship building and service delivery excellence
  • Strong command of project management methodologies, tools, and industry best practices, including change management and risk mitigation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Procore, or similar platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional), CCM (Certified Construction Manager), or similar project management certification
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supervising project management teams or junior staff
  • Familiarity with JLL PDS (Project and Development Services) standards, methodologies, and systems
  • Experience contributing to business development activities including proposals, presentations, and client pitches
  • Track record of driving operational improvements and process refinement in project delivery
  • Knowledge of corporate workplace environments, tenant improvement projects, and facility renovation work
  • Experience working on national account programs with enterprise clients requiring consistent delivery standards

Estimated compensation for this position:

126,800.00 - 126,800.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
