About the Opportunity
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role. As a Senior Project Manager you are both a project leader and a people leader.
- You are accountable for delivering an exceptional client experience, with projects completed on time and on budget.
- You lead projects end-to-end, from early planning and design coordination through construction and closeout. You act as the primary client point of contact and are fully accountable for each project's schedule, profitability, and outcomes.
- As a team lead, you co-lead a delivery pod alongside a Lead Designer, overseeing a team that typically includes a Designers, Project Manager(s) and Project Administrator(s).
- You own and manage a portfolio P&L, balancing client value, team capacity, and financial performance.
About the Deliverables- Deliver a consistently strong client experience, starting with disciplined execution on schedule and budget.
- Lead pre-construction activities, including feasibility, budgeting, estimating, tendering, and schedule development, in close coordination with the design team.
- During construction, partner with the Site Supervisor to ensure tight project administration, proactive issue resolution, and clear client communication.
- Manage change effectively by evaluating scope, schedule, budget, and quality impacts, securing approvals, and documenting decisions.
- Serve as the central point of coordination between clients, internal teams, consultants, and trades, ensuring timely decisions and clear documentation.
- Build and strengthen client relationships that support repeat work and new opportunities.
- Own portfolio-level profitability and resourcing by aligning staffing plans, workload, and fee structures to project demands, ensuring the right people are on the right projects
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance, feedback, and leadership support.
About YouOur ideal candidate brings...
- 12+ years of experience in commercial interiors project management, with a strong background in construction management.
- A degree in engineering, design, construction management, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Expertise in managing project budgets and P&Ls.
- Experience using Procore or an equivalent construction management software.
- Proven success in client-facing roles, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to guide and influence stakeholders. A talent for building strong professional relationships that can lead to future business opportunities.
