Full Job Description
The Position:
This is a senior leadership role inside a growing regional division. You'll do more than run your own projects - you'll define how the work gets executed, develop the project management talent around you, and serve as a key driver of the division's growth. Behind you is the full weight of UCS's national corporate infrastructure and a team that's committed to getting the work right.

What You'll Own:

Financial & Operational Performance
  • Manage project budgets, job costs, schedules, and subcontractor/vendor coordination.
  • Track labor productivity and revenue performance across your portfolio of projects.
  • Pinpoint and act on opportunities to strengthen margins and operational efficiency.

Full-Cycle Project Execution
  • Lead projects through every phase, from preconstruction and estimating to field execution and closeout.
  • Keep teams accountable to budget, schedule, safety, and quality on every job.
  • Work hand-in-hand with UCS corporate functions - Safety, Accounting, HR, BIM/VDC, and others - to keep projects running smoothly.

Team Leadership & Mentorship
  • Lead from the front within the regional project management team, modeling quality, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Coach and support Project Managers, APMs, Superintendents, Coordinators, and Interns.
  • Reinforce operational best practices and help build a high-performance team culture.

Client Relationships & Regional Growth
  • Fuel regional growth by cultivating strong relationships with general contractors, owners, and trade partners.
  • Contribute to pursuits, bids, and business development across the region.
  • Help keep the project pipeline healthy and grow regional backlog.

What You'll Need:
  • 5+ years of project management experience with a commercial drywall or interiors subcontractor - required.
  • Strong working knowledge of metal stud framing, drywall systems, acoustical ceilings, insulation, and related scopes.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, job costs, schedules, and vendor/subcontractor coordination.
  • A history of building GC relationships and supporting regional business development.
  • Natural leadership instincts and a real commitment to developing people and lifting team performance.
  • Comfortable operating at a senior level - owning outcomes, solving problems, and leading by example.
